Question asked: I downloaded the .STEP file and noticed there was a cover plate, I purchased this motor via Ali Express (GM8101-8 with GDS68 Driver) from your official account and was wondering does it come with the cover plate?

Yes, that cover plate is the rear cover of the driver board. As long as you purchase the motor+ driver board combination, this cover plate will be included.

A: The sole function of the secondary encoder is to remember the single-turn position after a power loss. 【 not to mitigate the backlash】
